The month of May has come and gone, and it was a great month! We shared a few healthy recipes that you all loved as well as some products from Amazon that blew our minds! Let’s revisit all the great things you may have missed over the last month.

D&D Best of May

This past month I jumped into the world of Magsafe products, which are magnets that provide faster wireless charging (standard in iPhone 12 and above). You can add a Magsafe case for added protection as well as a variety of accessories, such as a phone grips, charging stands, tripods, wallets, and so much more! Another bonus is that you can use this Magsafe technology with your wireless charging in your vehicles. It is an absolute game changer, and I can’t believe I went this long without it!

Deb has been using Magsafe for a few years, and she swears she has told me about it so many times (I don’t believe it!). So many of you said that you hadn’t heard of it either, though, so I don’t feel too behind the times. Either way, I am so happy that I finally made the switch!

I also shared my favorite biker shorts, and be prepared to need them… they have pockets! And if you are like us and your home is decorated with a mass amount of battery-operated candles, then you probably took advantage of this amazing battery sale. If you didn’t, there is still time!

Favorite Finds from Amazon

  1. Energizer Alkaline Power AAA Batteries (32 Pack)  |  $11 Anytime there is a battery deal we stock up! We go through a lot of batteries for our home decor items, but if you are a parent with young kid then I know you go through an obscene amount of batteries in those kids’ toys also. This is a great deal. You can also get the AA batteries on sale
  2. Edon Rechargable Table Fan  |  $25 This fan can be used on a tabletop or mounted to the wall. It is rechargeable, oscillates, and has a light. This would be great in a bathroom while you are getting ready and using hot hair tools. I use it in the kitchen while I am prepping food.
  3. Dokotoo Women’s Summer Waffle Snit Lantern Sleeve Top  |  $22  This top is oversized and true to size. The material is soft and lightweight, so despite it being a waffle material, it is breathable for Summer. This would be great for a Summer night out.
  4. High Waist Yoga Biker Shorts with Pockets  |  $14  I cannot say enough about these biker shorts. They are long enough that nothing hangs out, they don’t ride up, they aren’t see through, and they have pockets. I love to wear these with an oversized top or graphic tee. They are on a major sale right now, so definitely give them a try! I have the 5″ length but you can go shorter or longer in these.
  5. 100 FT Stainless Steel Metal Garden Hose  |  $49  We have completely switched over to the metal garden hoses. They are super durable. We need a longer hose to reach across the entire garden so it is super important that the hose is flexible and lightweight, which it is.
  6. Lamicall MagSafe Phone Car Mount  |  $9  This car mount attaches directly to your air vents and has an extremely strong magnet. If you use your phone as a GPS, the placement is perfect. Deb liked mine so much that she had to buy one for her truck as well.
  7. 3 in 1 MagSafe Wireless Charging Station  |  $27  This was another game-changing product for me. At night, my phone just clicks into place and begins charging. Same with my iWatch. If you need your phone, just pop it right off the stand. I love not messing with cords anymore!
  8. OhO Smart Polarized Sunglasses  |  $14.99  We originally shared these when they went on sale, and so many of you picked them up. Deb’s daughter absolutely loves them. When she isn’t out in the sun, she is wearing them on top of her head to hold her hair back while she listens to music or videos. The sides are a little larger to hold the speaker, but they aren’t heavy or bulky. They have a long battery life and the sound is impressive! These would make a fantastic Father’s Day gift.
  9. Anker Magnetic Power Bank 10,000mAh Wireless Portable Charger  |  $36  This MagSafe portable charger snaps right onto the back of your iPhone. I can sit on the porch swing and charge my phone with no cords. It sits flat and isn’t obtrusive. I use my phone a lot so this is great for when I can’t stop to charge my phone.
  10. Case-Mate Magnetic Phone Grip  |  $23  I used another brand of loop grip for years. I swore by it, and it was the main reason I didn’t switch to MagSafe accessories sooner. But, I decided to give this Case-Mate loop grip a try, and I have no regrets. The magnet is crazy strong and the grip is great. As I said, I spend a ton of time on my phone, so a good grip accessory is very important to me.

Favorite Finds From LTK

  1. Time and Tru Beatles Graphic Print T-Shirt Sizes XL-XXXL  |  $9.98  This is a top-seller for the second month is a row. It is true to size and very soft. I actually started pairing this shirt with a skirt, and it seriously matches everything.
  2. Time and Tru Women’s Button Down Camp Shirt with Roll Cuff Sleeves, Sizes XS-XXXL  |  $17  This shirt is very versatile. You can wear it lose or tie it for two totally different looks. It is true to size and comes in four different colors.
  3. 120″ Sectional Sofa Modern Convertible Couch  |  $649 If you are on the market for a new couch, this sectional is $100 off! There are eight color/material options. I love the teddy-velvet white option because it looks so similar to the cover that we throw over our current couch.
  4. Levi’s Dakota Synthetic Suede Lowtop Casual Lace Up Sneaker Shoe  |  $24 I just had these on today. They are one of my go-to day-to-day shoes. They basically match everything.
  5. Time and Tru Linen Blend Shorts with Smocked Waist  |  $12 These are a staple for Summer. They add a little more than your typical jean short and have a nice texture. They are available in six different colors. They have a mid length and are true to size.
  6. 3 Pcs Ceramic Flower Planter Pots with Drainage Hole  |  $28 In addition to using these as planters, I have a candle sitting inside one on my screened in porch. These are great for indoor and outdoor use.
  7. Crocs Brooklyn Strappy Low Wedge Sandals  |  $59 Crocs aren’t cheap and that is because they last forever! They clean up so well and are so comfortable. I can’t get over all the cute styles they have come out with in the past few years.
  8. Time and Tru Women’s Mid Rise Straight Utility Pants  |  $21  I know it’s hard to break away from our skinny jeans, but these are a great alternative. They add a little more dimension, but aren’t bulky. I love them and they are true to size.
  9. Better Homes & Gardens Fire Pit Tabletop Torch  |  $17.97  You will love this for your Summer porch sitting. It can blend a modern decor style or my vintage style.
  10. Time and Tru Cotton Eyelet Midi Skirt, Sizes XS-XXXL  |  $21  When is the last time you saw me wear a skirt?! It’s been a hot minute, but this one was too cute to pass up. Instead of dressing it up, I dressed it down with a graphic t-shirt for a casual look that I can wear when I’m running errands.

  1. Four Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe – Deb and I both have a sweet tooth, but I have dietary restrictions that make most desserts impossible for me. I adjusted this four ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe to be both gluten free, low sugar, and diary free. It is so good, easy to make, and totally worth your time! It is an amazing tasty treat.
  2. Brussels Sprouts, Chicken, and Apple Salad Recipe – This is another healthy recipe and makes a refreshing lunch on a hot Summer day.
  3. Our Small Antique Haul from Last Week – This was the recap of our trip to Springfield, Ohio, for the big Extravaganza event. The weather didn’t cooperate so we also went to a local thrift store. See what we brought home.

It was a great month. The weather started to get nice so we spent a lot of time outdoors.  Deb and I put the finishing touches on our front porch, garden, and other outdoor areas. I picked up some great Summer fashion finds. We tried some new Summer-inspired recipes. I can’t wait to see what June will have in store for Deb and I. I hope you will continue to follow along!
