Father’s Day is just around the corner, so I want to share some great items that will help you wow the favorite men in your life. All of these gift ideas are from Amazon so there is plenty of time to get them yet.
When it comes to choosing “gifts for him”, Deb and I like to channel the likes and hobbies of our own dads as well as the things that our son in laws enjoy. Our son in laws are all very different so that gives us a lot of variety.
I think it is just common knowledge that men reach a certain age in their life and suddenly take great pride in their grill and more importantly their grilling skills. With that in mind, Deb (our grilling professional), ordered some new items a few months ago to test on her new grills. Let me share some of her favorites!
If you are buying for a social dad, one who likes to be outside and play yard games, this Amazon Basic’s Bocce Ball Set is an excellent choice. One of our son in laws brought his set over to play a few weekends ago, and it is a blast. It can be played on a sandy beach or in the yard. Deb loves to compete, so this game was right up her alley.
Whether you are using a truck or trailer, these rachet straps are amazing quality and would live up to even the pickiest dad’s standards. The best feature, they have automatic retracting.
Deb’s dad loved to watch the birds, and a new bird feeder and bird food was usually the gift of choice for Father’s Day. Deb added this enclosed bluebird feeder to our landscaping to try to entice more bluebirds to our property, and so far she has been very pleased with it.
We have all three of these personal fans, and they are amazing. The handheld fan, I keep in my purse, but the neck fans are the item that any active dad would enjoy! These air conditioning neck fans are premium quality, and I mean premium! As soon as you put them on, you can feel the quality build. Deb said she will not mow without them ever again. They connect to your phone so you can adjust all the settings from there. They also read your vitals and have automatic settings to adjust to the outside temperature. This would be great for the dad who works out, who works outdoors in the heat, or spends time mowing or landscaping. They are good!
Our son in law works in roofing and construction and he picked up the Holstery belt system, and knowing Deb‘s love of tools and projects, he has been teasing her with how cool it is. Once you grab the belt, you customize your belt with different accessories including the super-awesome magnetic tool holder! This is a great gift for that handy dad!
