We have already gone full Fall mode, from pumpkins to colored leaves and amber-accented throw pillows, but I needed a few more items to pull it all together. Whether you are wanting to add some warm seasonal colors to your living space or prep your outdoor area for the upcoming Fall festivities, The Home Depot has everything you need! Let me show you my top picks from their home section to help refresh your space.
This set of two gold metal lanterns are handcrafted with a combination of glass and metal. These are perfect for both sitting or hanging, and they each have a hinged door so you can easily add your favorite flameless candle. You can use one larger candle or you can layer several smaller candles inside to add even more depth. The size of these lanterns is what sold me, though. The larger of the two is 18.75″ tall and the smaller is 15.25″. With such a large size, you could also fill these with your favorite small pumpkins!
This set of three Seagrass Storage Baskets adds a natural texture to your home. They have a solid, spacious construction with handles so you can easily transport items from one room to the next. The combined basket capacity is 65 cu. ft with the largest basket measuring 13.8″H x 15.7″W x 15.7″D.
With colder temperatures approaching, especially here in Ohio, these baskets are perfect for storing your favorite blankets, making them easily accessible at any time. These can also be used as base pots for your favorite faux trees or decorative corn stalks. These also make great toy storage baskets for some of our grandkid’s toys for when they come over to play.

True to the brand, this 34″ artificial olive tree from Nearly Natural looks so real! This isn’t your stereotypical Fall plant, but this tree has ripe olives and this time of year is when olives are typically ready for harvest. So, I am counting it as a Fall plant! It comes in a small black pot, but you can easily spruce this up with a basket or larger, more-decorative pot, which is what I always do. I also love that this plant can be used both indoor and outdoor. This looks great on our outdoor side table.
We have always used large mirrors in our home for every season. These are items we transition from one season to the next. This particular mirror from the Home Decorators Collection has a gorgeous natural-wood frame creating the perfect focal point in any room. It measures 75.6″H x 31.13″W x 2.52″D. It can be laid up against a wall or it has D-ring hangers on the back for easily mounting to the wall, both horizontally or vertically. I LOVE this.
This elegant and stylish chair from Safavieh makes the perfect dining-room chair or side chair in any room. These chairs are crafted from sturdy birchwood, finished in a natural cream/cherry mahogany, and upholstered with 100″ cotton-polyester. The seating is very plush and comfortable, and everything about it fits perfectly with the style of our home. If we spill a few crumbs on it, a little hand vacuum can clean it right up. The Home Depot hit the nail on the head with this one… did you get that little pun. Ha!
This Barney Bench by Safavieh pairs perfectly with the dining room chairs above. It adds a touch of luxury, whether it is being used at the end of a bed or in the living space topped with a tray. The legs are on caster wheels for extra mobility, if you needed to move it a little closer to a couch so you can put your feet up. It can hold up to 225 pounds and is 18.3″H x 63″W x 20.9″D. I personally love the brass nail heads that trim the bottom of this piece and add just that little bit extra!
