I have been working so hard on our very large antique cabinet, and while there is still so much to do, I feel like I can finally see the end! As I work ever-so-diligently to refinish its 18 doors, let’s take a look at some accounts that use beautiful antique pieces like this as storage options to help organize and showcase items in their home!

Antique Storage Cabinets Edition

Liz Marie Galvan 

Liz has a warm cottage style and gives daily tips on how to make your space cozy! She also has multiple large antique pieces that she incorporates into her decor. Instead of adding collections to her cabinets, like I do, she adds corresponding pieces that speak to each other. Every one of them looks amazing! 

The Lone Goose Co

Molly Featherstone shares tutorials, products, and design tips and tricks for those who are design obsessed. She used her large antique cabinet to display the bat cutouts she made. I love how she subtly added her bats and a few pumpkins to transform her white dishware display for Fall. 

Isaacs Rusty Wagon 

Tammy Young is a home decorator and crafter. She uses a lot of her cabinets to display her assortment of crocks, similar to what I am doing with my newest cabinet! She also adds a lot of cute little knickknacks and seasonal items to bring her own personality to her displays. 

Dirt Road Revival 

Emily used her old hutch to showcase some amazing pieces. I really love her collection of clocks which isn’t an item that I typically add to into my decor for some reason. I also appreciate the way the glass contrasts against all the woods and whites.  

Canvas and Cargo

If you want to see all of the old antique cabinets, then you need to check out Ashley and Jake’s account! They find old English furnishings and actually ship them nationwide. They show some of these pieces decorated in their own home as well as in the homes of the people who buy them. There are a few painted pieces, but most of it is gorgeous, natural wood! 

The Kindred Haven 

Laura German focuses on restoring her 1895 Victorian Home in Tennessee with neutrals, antiques, and thrifted finds. A detail I didn’t mention about the other cabinet setups, that I love here, is her use of the top of the cabinet. She didn’t waste any space and used the top for additional decor pieces. This is a great way to make your space taller.
