One of my favorite ways to switch up a space is by using inexpensive neutral pillow covers. I have a pretty good sized collection of pillow covers, but you probably knew that. A few years back, I decided that pillow covers are the way to go. Rather than having a huge stack of pillows to store, pillow covers take up so little space in the linen closet. You can switch them out for the season…. or easily add a pop of color to your space. Since, I’m a neutral girl, I tend to go that route.
I wanted to share a bunch of great deal on pillow covers with you. Most of them are under $15. Some of these come in a set of 2 for $9.99 and they are excellent quality. I just can’t believe you can still get a great quality item for $5 in this economy. Ha!
The pillow in this picture comes in a set of two and is so good. It’s creamy white and embroidered, which fits in with my style really well.
I have had the pillows on the bench above for awhile and they are such great quality. I love the black stripe… they are unlike anything I have since I go toward neutrals. And the price cannot be beat.
When you have a stash of pillow covers, you are going to need inserts. I remove all of my poly-fill inserts that come with some of the pillow covers and buy different ones. Once you start seeing and feeling the difference of a feather alternative pillow insert, you will understand why. They can be a little pricey. So, it’s why I buy just a few at a time. And, then once you have them, the expense is only in the pillow covers.
These are the pillow inserts that I prefer. Like I said, they are down alternative and very squishy… which makes for the perfect chop. Which I hear the chop is OUT, but I don’t care. I think they look better.
I linked a lot of neutral pillows at great prices below. They can really change up a space, in my opinion.
I will be sharing more pillow covers soon as we will be decorating all of our porches for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. Which, by the way… when you see pillow covers at these prices, grab them for those areas. If they are $5 each, they are perfect to add to your porch swings and outdoor furniture. If they last one season, you aren’t out much at all.
We may earn a small commission when you use one of our links to make a purchase.
Do you buy the pillows one size larger than the cover so it looks fuller?
It is always recommended to go up one size on the pillow insert, but I tend to like the same size for the insert and cover because it seems a little softer.
