Wayfair’s Big Sale is Back – Designing a Bedroom

You all know we are in the middle of a new build.  Well, there are a few things that I am looking for including several rugs for a few different areas.  One of those areas is our bedroom.   The bedroom is a lot bigger than the one we have here in the cottage.  So the rug has to be significantly larger.  I found the prettiest rug on Wayfair.com.  It is brown and white which will match my all-time favorite color theme – different tones of woods and different tones of whites.  Our headboard that we are currently using is also from Wayfair and I love it so much.  So, I thought it would be fun to design an entire bedroom around these two items.  It is something that I love to do.  And, it’s perfect timing!

Designing a Bedroom During Wayfair’s Way Day!

Like I said, we have this Amarjit Upholstered Headboard and love it.  It is excellent quality and really matches any type of decor.  It comes in three different colors, including a dark charcoal and a lighter gray.  I am always looking for warm colored rugs and found several on Wayfair’s site, including the Brevyn Power Loom Performance Ivory Rug.  This one happens to be on sale today!  I happened to grab the Analise Power Loom Brown and Cream rug for our bedroom in the new house. I think it looks like it could be a vintage rug from years ago, which will definitely go with the rest of our decor.

Now, let’s add a few more items to our bedroom from Wayfair!

I rounded up a couple of different dressers.  The Watson 6-Drawer Dresser could serve double duty as a television stand.  And, I love using smaller dressers for bedside tables if you have limited space.  This Sammi 3-Drawer Square Accent Chest is absolutely adorable.  I may have to pick up two of these today for beside our bed.

How fun are fireplaces in a bedroom?  This wall mounted electric fireplace will cozy up your space!  Throw pillows are another essential when planning a bedroom design.  I actually grabbed both of these styles for our bedroom:  The Landgrove Cotton Square Pillow and The Bryonie Floral Throw Pillow.  I love the look of both of them together actually.
