Do you watch Instagram stories? We had two of the girls over for one of their birthdays which we celebrated on Halloween. Which meant we got to see four of the grandsons, Titus, Oliver, Atlas, and Jack. The other grandson, Archer (Archie), lives 2 1/2 hours away and I had a date to go see him yesterday. He is two weeks old and so sweet. His mommy hasn’t been out of the house much. So, I gave her the option of staying home and taking a long nap while I watch him. Or to get out of the house. She chose to go to an indoor flea market that is less than 10 minutes away from her home. YAY! You know that is one of my favorite things to do.
I wasn’t looking for anything in particular but I always love to look. Because I love to switch out my things quite frequently, I love to pick up things here and there. This particular flea market had a lot of new items, garage sale items, and random vintage booths. And, their prices were excellent. Here are the antique finds that I found this weekend.
I have been looking for one of these antique wooden spice racks for so long. But didn’t want to pay the typical $200 price tag. When I stumbled upon this one for $40, I was literally speechless. I kept wondering if there was a 1 in front of it that I wasn’t seeing. Nope.. it was only $40.
I grabbed this butter mold that was only $10. The brass bowl was only $10 and want to use it for a Christmas tree, which I will start sharing really soon.
These candlesticks caught my eye. The larger one was $30. Note the writing on the bottom. And the pair of candlesticks were $20. I want to use the oven cleaner strip method on them. Have you seen that? It takes the finish off of pieces and makes them look old and rustic. I will for sure share that project when I try it.
The old watering can caught my eyes immediately. I have been looking for a heavier, nice quality one that I can actually use and display on our porch, too. This one will be perfect. Plus, it will hold A LOT of water because it’s pretty big.
And…. these bingo cards. We saw this and I was absolutely fascinated. They are made from thick cardboard and have little metal sliders. They were $2 for all four.
We had so much fun, and Archie was a perfect little gentleman and slept the entire time. I love sharing my weekend antique finds with you. Be watching for how I style these items in the upcoming weeks. I already have a few ideas of how I will use them. Did you find any fun antique pieces this weekend?

This was Emporium Beech Grove. There is a lot of junky booths but as you can tell, if you dig a little, you can find some great items.

Love that your daughter chose getting out of the house! Those candlesticks will look soo good stripped. I used oven cleaner a couple of years ago to strip my antique commode, it beats the hell out of the weak latest generation strippers. Excited to see how your candlesticks come out. Babies are wonderful!

I found the same "watering can" at an estate sale. But it's not a watering can; it's a car radiator water refilling can. My mom says she remembers them at the gas stations as a young girl. Looking at it now, I see it doesn't have the typical shower and spray head for a flower watering can. But it is really cool.
I can't tell by the posted photos, but does it have a handle placed very low on the opposite side of the spout? I know this will make it easy to pick up to and to tilt for watering plants.
