I’ve already told you that the next room we are putting together is our bedroom.  My goal for our bedroom is for it to feel warm and cozy.  And, I want it to blend with the rest of the house, so that means warm colors with woods and whites.  I have had a large rug in there since we moved in and it just wasn’t me.  I loved the look of it, but not with my antiques.  Number 1, it didn’t look old.  I love new rugs that look old and worn.  Number 2, it didn’t have warm browns in it like the rest of our home.  It bothered me. I recently found a new cozy, warm-toned rug for our bedroom and I LOVE it!  

I shared the warm-toned rug in our family awhile ago, so that was basically my inspiration for this room as well. This new rug for our bedroom has no gray tones in it.  So if you are like me, and can’t live with the grays, either one of these rugs will work for you.  And, FYI, I LOVE grays in other people’s homes.  I just cannot live with them.  I have Seasonal Affective Disorder so the gray skies here in Ohio, along with gray inside my house, makes me feel very down.

OK, on to the new warm-toned rug in our bedroom.

A New Cozy Warm-Toned Rug for our Bedroom

Did you see our headboard that we flipped for our bedroom?  It was a laminate head board that one of the girls gave us.  And, I didn’t like the color.  So we sanded the headboard and I refinished it.  You will have to check out this post to see the before.  My goal was to make it look like an antique one and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.  I wanted the new rug to blend with the warm-toned headboard and the darker-toned fireplace mantel in this room.

The rug for our bedroom is from Loloi.  It is SO PRETTY.  This particular style has several different sizes and colors but this one is called Mocha/Multi.  We grabbed the 9’6″ x 13’1″ since our bedroom is fairly large.  It does have a few other colors along the outer edge but you really have to get down really close to see them.  I love the fringe on the edge of two sides as it adds great texture. Not to mention, it is SO SOFT.

Loloi has such great quality rugs and such a huge selection of different styles and colors.  This is such a gorgeous rug, so we can add this to the top of my favorites!
