I talked a little bit over on Instagram about the love I have for my Apple watch.  Deb and I use ours for so many different things.  She bought one about a year and a half ago and has used the HECK out of it.  She uses it for EVERYTHING…. the weather, answering phone calls and texting (when her phone isn’t near), music, etc.  She tried to talk me into one since she bought hers.  I kept refusing.  Number one, I kept thinking I didn’t need one.  My phone is with me at all times.  Number two, I didn’t like the sportiness of how it looked.  I am a little bit girlier than she is.  I like “gaudier” things.  ???? Which is what she calls my choices.  And number three, would I be able to see it?  #oldladyeyes

Apple Watch

Well… once we started at the gym, I wanted to keep track of my heart rate and calories burned, etc.  So I took the plunge.  And let me tell you, it was money well spent.  Not only do I use it every day at the gym, but when I am busy and have my phone tucked away in my purse, and I receive a text or an email, I can view it on my watch.  I had no clue how handy and convenient that would be.  I didn’t take it to Mexico with us because I didn’t want the hassle.  But dang… I missed that thing.   And, I can see it!  ????

I view my sleep app every morning to see how little I sleep.  ???? Which is very interesting to me.  I started seeing patterns of reasons why I may not be sleeping well.  It keeps track of my heart rate and will alert me if it dips or skyrockets too high, etc.

There is a time and place for sporty style watches, in my opinion.  I was missing my “gaudy” side.  So I went on a hunt for different ways to change the looks of my watch and make it a little more girly.  Sporty watches are great for me at the gym, but when I am out and about in a cute dress, I want to look a little more girlie, you know!  And, I bought a silver one to save on price but I am a gold girl.  I found different ways to change both of those things.  Deb and I both did some searching because they are hard to find.  Honestly…. it took us awhile to round up some really cute accessories.
