You will almost always see me wearing one of my favorite pair of reader glasses, or at the very least, you will find them propped on top of my head like the must-have hair accessory of the season. What you may not know, though, is that all of my readers are blue light blocking. Today, I am going to share my favorite blue-light blocking reading glasses from Amazon, and I will also explain why you may want to add blue-light blocking technology to your next pair! 

Blue Light Blocking Technology

Blue light blocking lenses are meant to filter out the blue light that radiates from your favorite digital screens, whether it be a phone, tablet, or television. Blue light is one of many culprits that lead to eye strain and fatigue. 

More importantly, according to the Cleveland Clinic, blue light is known to upset your sleep schedule because it messes with your internal clock. So, if you are staring at a screen up to an hour before bedtime, it is a great ideal to wear blue light blocking lenses while doing so! Because, sleep!!

If you are like me and spend a good majority of your day in front of a screen, blue light blocking glasses are a life saver! If I go without my blue light blocking readers, my eyes feel fried by the end of the day. My eyes get so dried out and actually burn after staring at the screen all day. I can tell a difference within an hour of wearing them. It is definitely a must-have item for someone who has an office job and sits in front of a computer. These would make a great stocking stuffer for someone who spends a lot of time in front of a screen!

There are a variety of magnification strengths as well as 0.0 magnification for someone who just wants the blue light blocking technology.

If you want a pair of blue light blocking glasses that have no magnification, then check these out! I love the oversized frames. These are great if you want to pair blue light blocking technology with your current contacts.

This is another variation of the Reavee blue light blocking readers that I have purchased in the past. These are a little more squared in appearance but have the same great fit. These also offer a full range of magnification choices.

I know, I know… I have so many pairs of reading glasses! I’ve had this pair for a year now. They have a thick frame for a little extra spunk and come in four color options. They also have a six different magnification options.

This two pack of blue light blocking reading glasses is one of the first pair that I picked up on Amazon. They have a stylish, square cat-eye look. This is another pair that offers zero magnification for those of you who just want the blue light-blocking technology.
