Christmas in the Entryway - House on WinchesterChristmas in the Entryway - House on Winchester

You already know my decor plans for the Winter season and Christmas holiday since I’ve mentioned it a million times.  I am planting a fake forest! ???????????? If I can’t live in the mountains of Tennessee in my own forest, then by gumby, I will have a fake one in my house.  I’ve shown you a little glimpse into said forest in my living room when I talked about decorating for Christmas with vintage pieces.  So, I continued the theme in my entryway.

Step on in and have a look around at my Christmas in the entryway.

Christmas in the Entryway

This year, I decided to go with a million trees as I state above.  I wanted it to look like a forest, and there are no ornaments in a forest….soooooooooooo ????????‍♀️ Some of you may think that is WAY too boring, but I am loving it.  I have some white lights on a few of my trees this year, but not many.  My choices are plain green trees, flocked, and iced trees all mixed together.

This little stairway sitch kind of happened on accident.  You know when you have a few little things to carry upstairs and you are just too tired to do it?  Well, that’s what happened.  I had a few little trees that needed to go upstairs and I ended up setting them each on their own step to carry up later.  I ended up thinking they looked pretty cute there.  So they stayed each being held by a different type of crock.

I switched out the entryway table to this taller round one that we had stored in the basement, and I’m digging it for a little bit of a change.  This little chippy box was a find a few months back and this little tree fit perfectly inside, making it the cutest tree holder.

Vintage Decor in the Entryway

You know I cannot leave out my vintage decor.  I talked a little bit about this area and what I used vintage-wise in my decor already, but had to include it here, too.  I hung this gorgeous double sided picture that I found on Etsy.   This picture is perfect for not only Christmas but will last all through the Winter season.

Let’s face it.  All of these little undecorated trees could last all Winter long and transition right through Spring.  But who am I kidding.  These suckers will be ripped down and put away the day after Christmas.  I say every year I’m going to keep it up, but I start getting the itch to get it put away shortly after the holiday.

Stair Landing

I left the little table on this first little stair landing and just pooped it up with lots of festive things.  I added some paper whites to an upside down ironstone looking electrical insulator.  You know how I feel about adding Christmas trees on candlesticks… and adding some fake pears in a crock.  Basically I pooped it up… and pooped it up real good.

I’m pretty happy how it turned out.  It’s plain but still all “poopy” like I love it.  ???? . What do you think?  Are you going all out for decor?  I was not even in the mood for awhile, but the bug hit.
