Fall Table Setting - Deb and Danelle

I have told you more than once that we are having a baby shower here at the cottage at the end of September.  It will be Halloween Themed one because mommy loves fall and Halloween.  I cannot wait to get this cottage all decked out.  I am slowly working on little areas.  The inside and outside will be Fallified really soon.  I will be sharing it all, including a full tour of the entire property and inside of the cottage on social media.  Stay tuned.

I have been picking up little things here and there for both the season and the shower.  Recently, I grabbed this cute set of dishes at Walmart and set a fall table for the to of us.  We cook 99.999% of our meals at home and we ALWAYS use our dishes (rather than paper products).  I shared our antique dish collection in another post that we used every day for over a year.  It makes you feel fancy.  Try it

Fall Table Setting for Two

Like I said, I grabbed this cute polka dot dish set a few weeks back and we recently used them.  We had a quick lunch of my favorite home-canned tomato soup and cheese and crackers.  And I set the table to make it feel like we were in a restaurant, since we never go.  ????

The dishes come in a few different patterns but I loved these because they are more subtle than the rest.  I think they are perfect for fall and will be perfect to use for some of the food for the shower.  The gold silverware go perfect with the dish set as the are rimmed in gold, too.

I also grabbed this cheese board with glass dome which will come in SO HANDY.  The quality is excellent and I can see me using this a lot.  Between actually using it with the same intention it was made for, I will be using the glass dome and board separately and for other things….like decor.  ????????

Oh… and my table runner is actually a dish towel.  I saw this set of five and thought they looked really cute for fall.  They will also come in so handy for the baby shower and display tables, etc.  We can always use more dish towels because we have no dishwasher here in the cottage so ours take a beating and wear out so fast.

Other decor items on my Fall Table

I shared this gorgeous white pumpkin and golden eucalyptus in another post where I created a fall neutral coffee table.  I love the pumpkin so much as it is such great quality and makes a huge statement.  And I grabbed these black taper candlesticks because I thought they looked fall-ish.  They were on the pricier side but they are excellent quality and I love the simplicity of them.  And of course, I used my absolute favorite taper candles.  They make me so happy.  I’ve burned them for years.

If you want more fall inspiration, I have a whole bunch of fall looks that I’ve shared throughout the years which includes from the old house, the rental, and now the cottage.  Hope you like these posts and they give you some fall inspiration for your own home.
