This is the first fall we will be living in our new home. And, guess what today is. It’s when I start all of my fall content. I have so much planned for this season and cannot wait to share what has been going through my head. A few weeks back I did a big brain dump, which is writing down everything that comes to your mind on a particular subject. And fall was my subject. Trust me.. there is a huge list, so I hope you love fall as much as I do. I thought it would be really fun to kick off this fall season with a new post revisiting some of our favorite fall looks from the past.
If you aren’t ready to turn your house into fall, yet, it’s ok. You can still look at all of the pretty fall decor and pin it for when you are ready. Now let’s get onto the fun.
This was a post where I shared a quick and easy way to transition to fall if you aren’t ready. It’s very simple to add a few little things here and there. I pulled out some of my vintage items in this post, too.
I love doing a little craft project every now and then. I have a few planned for this fall season, too. One will be coming soon. But, do you remember when I made the concrete pumpkins? They were fun and so easy. And, I love the way they look. It would be something you could make with your kids or grandkids, too.
Last year’s craft project was a good one too. I took some bright colored jack-o-lanters and made them look like old-time pottery. I cannot wait to get those out of the fall tubs in my home decor room. You can do this with any type of ceramic pumpkins. The thrift store would be a great place to look for donated pumpkins… and give them a makeover with this technique.
I shared this neutral fall porch look last year. This was actually in the middle of our build. Can you believe it? That seemed like an eternity ago, but here we are living in our dream home.
This warm neutral fall table is one of my favorite ways to decorate the middle of our table. Plus I love all things neutral so it’s a win win for me.
One of my favorite things to do is layer and display a bunch of different things. I shared this look last year and added a bunch of favorites of mine. This year I have four fireplaces to do, so stay tuned for that, too.
This is Halloween related, but I kind of lump fall and Halloween into one category. If you have been around for awhile, you know I love my downloadable prints. I rounded up a bunch of good ones two years ago and framed them in some antique frames. They are so dang fun.
This is a great idea for a fall fireplace mantel. I used my amber bottle collection which I cannot wait to pull out of storage and added a few books. I loved this simple look using most of everything that I already had on hand.
Oh how I loved this simple neutral coffee table for fall. I have been toying with the idea of bringing back a coffee table to our family room, but haven’t done that yet. Stay tuned as I have my eyes peeled for the perfect one.
There are a lot of different fall looks from the past, including fall-inspired side tables, quick fall centerpiece ideas, a whole list of fall scents, a neutral fall farmhouse table and so much more.
Stay tuned for all things fall. And, of course, updates here and there with all of our home projects we are in the middle of.
