Spring Decor

Spring Cottage Decor

I cannot tell you how ready we both are for spring.  Did you know that yesterday, it got up to 73 degrees here in Ohio.  That is so bizarre for the beginning of March in this neck of the woods.  Usually it is still really cold.  Deb worked a little outside chopping down a few small trees and cutting up some that fell over the winter.  Ivy got a long case of the zoomies which means she felt as terrific as we did.  I worked a lot inside the cottage with the windows and doors open.  It was refreshing and gave me so much hope that spring is right around the corner.

I recently refreshed some of my spring decor after rounding up some gorgeous cottage style decor along with some vintage spring decor. I wanted to show you how I used the pieces that I grabbed for myself.

Spring Cottage Decor

As soon as I saw this GORGEOUS rabbit picture, I knew I had to have it.  It goes perfect with any style.  It’s actually a canvas so it is lightweight and can easily be hung anywhere.  It comes in several different sizes and looks like an antique sign.  It’s why I love it so much.  We are running out of room on the walls of the cottage because we have such large pieces of furniture here.  So I did the next best thing.  We hung it on the cabinet that holds my yellow ware collection.

Along with the rabbit picture, I found this gorgeous tall standing rabbit that looks so cute on the side table.  It is made of resin but it looks like stone or concrete.  The texture is fabulous. I may run some white or cream paint over him because he is a little gray for my taste.  It doesn’t look like it here in these photos but know that he is.

I love adding some type of candlesticks to every table, mantel, coffee table, etc.  I grabbed these from Amazon and they are fabulous for the money.  They are actually a dupe to the Pottery Barn ones I grabbed last fall.  They aren’t as heavy but looking at them, you would never know. And I added my absolute favorite candles.  They burn for such a long time and burn very clean.

Did this make you want to pull out all of your spring decor and let the fresh air in your home?  We still have some cold days ahead, but there is an end in sight.  If you want more inspiration for spring, I have shared a lot of different looks this year.  Check out these posts:  Artificial Spring Flowers, Simple Spring Mantel, Neutral Spring Decor in the Dining Area, Neutral Spring Centerpiece
